We are now accepting applications for our Fall 2015 cohort! 

The field of Medical Assisting is one of the fastest growing occupations in this decade. Local healthcare providers are expanding facilities and are looking for qualified medical administrative assistants.  Graduates of Cañada College's Accelerated Medical Administrative Assistant program are prepared to secure employment in physician’s offices, clinics, hospitals, labs, medical publication firms, laboratories, pharmaceutical firms, public health agencies, or the claims departments of health insurance companies.

Please follow these easy steps to apply.

  1. Save this APPLICATION to your desktop.
  2. Complete the Application Form.
  3. Save the application as a PDF to your desktop. (my-caa-app.PDF)
  4. Attach the saved application to an email and send it to canadacaa@smccd.edu or print and fax the completed application to 650 381-3512

You will be contacted as soon as we receive your application. Placement in our program will be based on space available and receipt of our application and all required assessment tests results/transcripts. You must be eligible to enroll in Reading 836 and English 836 as part of our program. If you have completed equivalent courses with a grade C or better, or achieved a score of 89 on your SMCCD assessment tests for reading and English, you will not be required to take these courses as part of our program.
