In the spirit of providing an outstanding education to all students who desire to attend Cañada College and avail themselves of the continuum of educational programs and student services, the faculty and staff of have developed an inclusive, innovative Honors Transfer Program. This program is designed to support highly motivated students achieve their goals of graduation, and transfer to the universtiy of their choice. HONORS TRANSFER PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT

The Honors Transfer Program supports the mission and values of Canada College by:

Creating an environment of scholarship that nurtures highly motivated students.
Providing increased transfer opportunities and access to scholarships for participating students
Supporting faculty innovation in educational practices that lead to student success.

HONORS TRANSFER PROGRAM STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon graduation and/or transfer from the Honors Transfer Program, students will have:

Completed and presented original research.
Completed an educational and transfer plan that culminated in applications to at least two universities and two scholarships.
Gained a strong sense of themselves as student scholars and an increased confidence in their work
