Fashion Design and Merchandising Department to Sponsor Carolyne Zinko Presentation

Zinko, a San Francisco journalist, will speak as part of the Notre Dame de Namur University Distinguished Speaker Series.

Carolyne Zinko, a fashion writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, will be the speacial guest at the Notre Dame de Namur University Distinguished Speakers Series on March 10 from 6 to 7 p.m. The presentation will be held in the Ralston Mansion on the NDNU campus, 1500 Ralston Ave., Belmont. Admission is free but reservations need to be made by Wednesday, March 3.

The Cañada College Fashion Design and Merchandising Department, the Notre Dame de Namur University School of Business & Management, and the Belmont Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring Zinko's presentation.

Zinko has written for the Chronicle for 14 years, focusing on lifestyle, arts and entertainment and luxury living. Her work appears regularly in the Features section with video coverage on SFGate.com. Past assignments include city government, crime and politics on the Peninsula. She also wrote the High Society column for nearly four years.
