Two Cañada Students Named to All-California Academic Team
David Ibañez-Doria and Jinmin Kwak will be honored in Sacramento on March 27.
Cañada College students David Ibañez-Doria and Jinmin Kwak have been selected for the 2008 Phi Theta Kappa All-California Academic Team. They will be honored at a special luncheon and awards ceremony in Sacramento on March 27. Both students are active in Beta Zeta Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the school's honor society. Ibañez-Doria has also been involved with the school's Political Awareness Club (PAC), helping to register more than 100 students to vote prior to Tuesday's presidential primary election. Kwak came to the Bay Area from Korea and is studying economics. "These two students are wonderful examples of the type of education that is available to students at Cañada," said President Tom Mohr.
