Workshops Scheduled to Help Students With UC, CSU Applications

Students who plan to transfer to a UC or CSU school next fall should plan to attend a workshop.

Students who are planning to transfer to a UC or CSU school next fall can receive help with the application process thanks to a series of workshops that will be held in the Transfer Center.

Students planning to attend a CSU school may submit their application between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30. The CSU application is available at www.csumentor.edu. There is also an informative podcast with Eric Forbes, CSU director of enrollment management discussing the application process.

The UC application is available here. Students may submit their application between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30. The application is available now in order for students to start their application by entering their courses and grades. The UC application guideline for transfer students is available here.

Cañada will hold four application workshops for CSU and UC transfer students. Students need to bring an official copy of their transcript. The workshops will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. in Building 9, Room 106 on Oct. 7, Oct. 13, Nov. 3, and Nov. 18.
