The Spring Edition of BluePrint is Online!
Check out some of the fantastic works created by Cañada students.
The renewal of springtime deserves the artistic and literary gifts we offer
you in this, our second issue of Blueprint.
Once again, we leap over the stereotype of students as superficial thinkers.
Instead, you can see the depth of their feeling and the clarity of their
thought about matters as great as life and death, and as concrete as a black
bird on a rail. Images of time and space are not easy to capture, and as the
techno-wizardry abounds in commercial ventures, it is harder than ever to
express what is real, what is still important as human beings.
We invite you to contribute to our e-zine, (the address is below) and share
your work with the community. In fact, the community spans all of cyberspace, and
therefore your work is seen by people of new cultures, geography, and
languages.
To spring, to creativity, and to a rebirth in politics, we dedicate our
second issue of Blueprint.
Our staff, including Sarah Russell, Alex Tucker, Kathie Koop and our special
friends Tom Mohr, Katie Townsend-Merino, Linda Hayes, Daniella
Castillo and others, wishes you a great, warm, and fruitful season.
With thanks to all who visit us,
Susan Gangel
Professor of English and Creative Writing
