A Lunch-In and Documentary Film Will Highlight Black History Month

"Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years" will be shown twice.

Cañada College will celebrate Black History Month with a "Lunch In" and showing of the award-winning documentary, "Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years." The event is sponsored by College Success Learning Communities, the Associated Students of Cañada College and the Library.

The film will be shown on Thursday, Feb. 24 and Monday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Main Theater. It is free and open to the public. In addition, the library will have a special display for Black History Month.
