The Library is Expanding its Hours to Include Saturdays
The library will be open until 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Thanks to the passage of Measure G by San Mateo County voters, the Cañada College library is expanding its hours. The library will now be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays. For the first time, the library will be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The college's Learning Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.
"Students need the academic support to be successful," said Reference Librarian David Patterson. "The additional funding we received from passage of the parcel tax was instrumental in helping us expand the library hours to meet the needs of our students."
Patterson said the library will do more than just open the doors on Saturday. A writing tutor and math instructors and tutors will be available to assist students. The library's 70 computers will also be available with no time limits.
