Middle College is now accepting applications for Spring 2009. The Middle College High School Program at CaƱada draws juniors and seniors from all four comprehensive high schools in the Sequoia Union High School District as well as local charter and private high schools. Students take both high school and college courses at the college campus. Students can save up to $20,000 a year in tuition, housing, and books by finishing their first two years of college during high school.
You can learn more about Middle College by attending a free informational session on Thursday Nov. 20 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Sequoia Union High School District Board Room, 480 James Ave., in Redwood City. This meeting will include and overview of the program, a chance to talk to current students, and offer an opportunity to have your questions answered.
