Lecture Examines Roots of Cuban Music
Cuban native Herman Bosset will speak as part of the college's celebration of black history.
Musica Orginal de Cuba, a lecture by Cuban native Herman Bosset, will examine the roots of Cuban music. Bosset's lecture will be held on Monday, Feb. 11 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Building 2, Room 10 on the CaƱada College campus. Bosset will use a combination of historical facts and storytelling to reveal information and concepts about Cuba's musical roots and connections to African customs.
