New Math and Biology Classes Open for Spring Semester
Thanks to the passage of Measure G, the college is opening new class sections this spring.
A new statistics class and a biology class are among the dozens of new class sections opening up this spring thanks to the passage of Measure G in last June's election. "One of the primary objectives of Measure G was to maintain academic programming in science, math, and English," said Cañada College President Tom Mohr. "We're opening dozens of new class sections for the spring semester with the money we are receiving from Measure G." Approximately 50 new class sections have been opened up for the coming spring semester.
This includes Math 200 Statistics offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Biology 310 Nutrition offered on Saturday morning. A full list of new courses for the spring can be found on the class registration page. Students can also browse the spring class schedule at WebSCHEDULE. Spring semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 18.
