Cañada has several different opportunities for nursing students.
Cañada College offers lower division coursework required for transfer in Nursing. Students should use PROJECT ASSIST to research lower division major requirements at the transfer destination(s) of their choice. Also, work with a Counselor/Advisor to determine appropriate transfer coursework. More information about the nursing transfer program is available on the Science & Technology Nursing Page.
The Cañada College University Center also offers a bachelor's degree in nursing. The Sequoia Hospital/San Francisco State University Nursing Program is a unique opportunity for San Mateo County residents to earn their bachelor's degree in nursing without leaving the county.
