Acting Class Performs "What a Piece of Work" on Oct. 21
The performance will be held at 1 p.m. in the Flex Theater.
The Theatre Art Departments’ Acting Class will be performing a series of interwoven monologues entitled “What a Piece of Work.” The show weaves together and contrasts monologues from all theatrical time periods (the ancient world, the Renaissance, the Age of Reason, the 19th century, and today) – each piece of work is connected to the next thematically or visually … not chronologically. It’s an excellent way to experience how playwrights from around the world and across the span of centuries have influenced and rebelled against one another – and the level of acting ability will surprise you. This will be a fascinating, unique, and vibrant theatrical experience.
The performance will be held Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. in the Flex Theater. It is free and open to the public.
