Deadline Has Changed for Transfer Admission Guarantee

If you plan to attend a UC campus next year, you must submit your Transfer Admission Guarantee by Sept. 30.

Students planning to attend a University of California campus next year should be aware that the deadline for the Transfer Admission Guarantee has changed. The new deadline is Sept. 30. You may complete the on-line TAG application now and submit it from Sept. 1-30. If you have any questions, please make an appointment with the Transfer Program supervisor.

The University of California System gives priority admission to California Community College transfer students. Eight of every 10 California Community College applicants are qualified and admitted. Nearly one-third of all UC bachelor's degrees go to transfer students. On average, junior transfer students graduate after 2.4 years at UC.
