Veterans Resource Fair & BBQ Set for Sept. 23

Service providers will be available to help veterans.

A variety of service providers will be on-hand to help veterans when Cañada Collge hosts its first Veterans Resource Fair and Welcome Back BBQ on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Main Quad on campus.

This event is designed for veterans and their families. The American Legion will prepare a barbecue, there will be activities for children and representatives from various college departments, student clubs, and veterans service organizations will be available to answer questions. The Vietnam Veterans of America, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Next Step Employment Center, and AmVets will attend and the Veterans Administration will have its mobile Vet Center on campus to enroll veterans during the event.
