Want to Play College Soccer? Cañada Needs Players For Women’s Team
Team offers women excellent opportunity to earn university scholarships.
The Cañada College women’s soccer team is looking for a few good players. Practice has begun and the regular season kicks off August 26 as the Colts take on Menlo College. “Women soccer players have a tremendous opportunity to transfer from Cañada to four-year universities and colleges and play soccer on scholarship,” said Cañada Head Coach Kurt Devlin. In the last seven years, Cañada has won two conference titles and been a competitive program in the Coast Conference. The team will play up to 21 games this year. During the school year, practice runs from 3 to 5 p.m. “It doesn’t matter what position you play, we’re looking for athletes who want to be part of a winning team,” Devlin said.
