Dr. Medina received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Miami. A Professor of Chemistry at Cañada College, Dr. Medina has published over ten articles on a variety of chemistry related topics. She has revitalized the college’s chemistry program by upgrading curricula and equipment; implementing safe and environmentally friendly labs and increasing resources at the library through the learning center and Math Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) center.
Dr. Yang received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Harvard University. Before joining our staff, she worked as a research scientist in the biotech industry and was a high school mathematics teacher. As our Chemistry Outreach Coordinator she develops high tech chemistry curriculum and conducts professional workshops for science teachers throughout San Mateo County.
Ms. Eznekier received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences from San Jose State University. Before joining the NSF Grant Team she was the director of the College for Kids program, a local summer academic enrichment program for middle school students. Ms. Eznekier brings many years of project management experience to her role as Assistant Director of our grant.
