- Friday, 4/23, 2-4:30 p.m.-- Volunteers Needed for Cañada’s Annual High School Engineering Design Competition – The annual high school engineering design contest is the afternoon, this Friday April 23 and there is a need for a few more volunteers. This is great event where students from the nearby high schools compete with their designs in a fun and challenging afternoon. This year, the contest is Trebuchet design for maximum distance.
