CARE Child Care Grant

The primary service provided to CARE students, in addition to those provided by EOPS, is non duplicated assistance with child care expenses. Child care is provided through grants that are dispursed on specified dates throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. The CARE Child Care Grant for each semester will be disbursed to eligible CARE students in one lump sum during a CARE Workshop. This grant is to assist you with out-of-pocket child care expenses for study time which cannot be covered by CalWORKs. Check releases for the Child Care grant will be distributed during a CARE Workshop. You must have a check release to obtain the grant.
