Academic Counseling
EOPS Counselors helps students develop a six semester Student Education Plan (SEP) which includes identifying the course work students are to take in a specific order to achieve their educational goals. Learning Center, Trio, workshops and tutoring, ect.

Personal/Career Counseling
Counselors assist students with selecting a major; administer and interpret career interest tests on an individualized basis; and refer students to Career Center for more extensive vocational assessment, if needed.  We also provide information on job market trends and help students learn how to research occupations and job outlooks using resources such as the Library, Career Center, and College/Career Planning courses.

Priority Advising
EOPS students receive priority advising.  With priority advising, students can meet with counselors at the beginning of the registration period and prepare for the coming semester.
