Every semester EOPS collaborates with Cañada College Transfer Center organize university visits to at least one University of California campus, one California State University campus, and one independent/private college campus. Please contact the EOPS Staff for upcoming visits by calling 650.306.3300 or by sending an email to caneops@smccd.edu. EOPS provides assistance with the transfer process in several ways: 
- During the Fall and Spring Semester counselors present workshops on completing the UC and the CSU applications. 
- Counselors are also available for individual appointments to complete all transfer applications. 
- Counselors provide assistance with Transfer Articulation Agreements.
- Counselors also provide students with fee waivers to cover the application costs for the UC and the CSU systems. 

At the end of the Spring semester, EOPS holds a Recognition Luncheon at which we recognize our graduating and transferring students.  All graduating and transfering students receive a packet with a Certificate of Recognition, a Cap and Gown rental, a graduation stole and a departure gift.

Fall 2007 Applications
The Final Deadline to apply to SFSU for the Fall 2007 semester has been extended until March 15, 2007 for all majors except impacted (apparel design and merchandising, interior design, nursing and social work) and high demand majors (broadcasting and cinema).  Students can apply at www.csumentor.edu .

Admission Requirements
San Francisco State University ONLY accepts Upper Division transfer students (60 transferable units, Areas A & B4 and 2.0 CA resident or 2.4 non-resident).  Fall 2007 applicants must have met these requirements by the end of the Spring semester. Spring 2008 applicants must meet these requirements by the end of the Fall 2007 semester. Summer 2007 courses DO NOT COUNT towards Fall 2007 admission requirements.

Units from the Academy of Art
 SFSU no longer accepts units in transfer from the Academy of Art, effective Spring 2007. Fall 2006 was the last semester these units were able to be accepted in transfer.
