NOTE: Students should check their email for their specific drop deadline - students must pay all fees prior to the drop deadline communicated in the email.
If you need assistance in paying your fees, you are encouraged to enroll in an inexpensive payment plan via WebSMART, apply for financial aid (www.fafsa.gov) at least five business days prior to registering for your classes, or complete the Board of Governors Fee Waiver via WebSMART to prevent being dropped from classes. If you still need financial assistance after exhausting all options listed above, please contact the Vice President of Student Services. You can always reach out to the Cashier's Office below:
Cañada College will waive enrollment fees for students who reside in San Mateo County (some exceptions apply, see our Free College FAQ).
Please Note: There are no minimum or maximum units required to qualify for the Free College enrollment fee waiver. If you qualify, the Free College enrollment fee waiver will be automatically applied on WebSMART when registering for your courses. The Free College enrollment fee waiver may not cover all additional college fees. To avoid a Drop for Non-Payment, please check your WebSMART for any outstanding balances.
