What is Augmented Reality? Augmented reality (AR) is all about making the real world more exciting by adding computer-generated elements. Our program's core component is a series of comprehensive training modules. These modules are thoughtfully created to give learners hands-on experience in crafting AR effects using Meta Spark Studio. The Spark AR Program at Cañada College 

Calendar: 8-Weeks November 7, 2023 to January 9, 2024
Hybrid Program: Students will meet primarily online with the exception of a few in-person classes
Pre-requisites: Knowledge of basic computer operations including creative apps, making PDFs, and attaching files.

Cañada College is partnering with Jobs for the Future to deliver a brand new Augmented Reality (AR) training program for learners interested in developing AR skills for graphic design, 3-D animation/motion graphics, digital marketing, web development, and UX design, among a wide array of other relevant career tracks. The pilot program will provide students with the opportunity to develop their own AR portfolio of products, receive professional certification, and explore potential jobs and related careers.

How you will Learn

This is a Hybrid Program following online modules from the Meta Spark platform. Students will need computer access to complete this program. The computer lab at Cañada College will be available on Tuesdays from 6-8pm to work on assignments as necessary. Students will meet with their instructor, Jack Stewart, via Zoom on Tuesday evenings to. There will be 3 in person classes to attend amongst the schedule.
