ACES Equity Lecture Series Presents: Cultural Fires & Meadow Restoration

California is a fire-dependent landscape where many of our native flora and fauna depend on fire to rebalance ecological systems. For generations, American Indians have relied on cultural burning practices to cultivate desired plants, improve human security, and clear our hearts and pathways. Ron Goode is an expert in Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and will speak about North Fork Mono cultural history, his recent experiences with burning and the wisdom of applying traditional culture and ecological approaches to environmental issues.


PLUG Panel "Career Paths and How and What It Means To Start A Business”

Cañada College is hosting its Inaugural President's Luncheon, a fundraising event that will bring community leaders together to support the Cañada College Promise Scholars Program.Free transportation and registration will be offered for students on a first-come-first served basis. If interested in attending, students can contact Megan Rodriguez Antone by Thursday, October 17.

Attend an information session to study aboard and become immersed about Italian Fashion! This 3-unit class will run June 1- June 15, 2019, in Florence, Italy.
