Joint Engineering Programs

CALSTEP will also develop partnerships with community colleges currently without an engineering program to align community college engineering programs throughout the state, and to design and implement a Joint Engineering Program that is delivered through CCC Confer.

Course Descriptors (C-IDs) and Model Transfer Curriculla (MTCs)

Online JEP Application due September 15, 2015. 

Full-time or adjunct Engineering faculty teaching at least one course in a California Community College in Fall 2015

Program Period:
October 2015 to September 2016

Alignment of Engineering Curriculum
Alignment of AS degrees in Engineering
Participation in the Fall and Spring Engineering Liaison Council Meetings

Stipend (up to $1,500 - depending on level of participation)
Reimbursement of travel expenses to ELC meetings (up to $700 per trip)
Access to courses and course materials developed through JEP
