The Teen Dental Career Training Program at Cañada College
Dental Rover Program Overview
Students who register will receive in depth training about dental anatomy, infection control and training, sterilization practices, dental chairside procedures, and more. This program includes in person hands on labs so students can work with dental materials and tools in a hands on immersive experience. Once completed, students will earn a certificate from Cañada College at Menlo Park, and will be ready to apply for entry level job opportunities working as a sterilization technician in a dental office. Students who are interested in pursing this industry even further, can enroll in College of San Mateo’s Dental Assistant Program which prepares them for the state Registered Dental Assistant exam.
