STEM Center Summer Programs Nomination Now Open!
The STEM Center is now accepting nominations for the Summer Engineering Institute and STEM Institute programs for high school students.
The Summer Engineering Institute is a two-week residential summer camp for current high school sophomores and juniors at San Francisco State University designed to provide real world context to the study of engineering through practical, applied and hands-on problem solving and design-oriented projects. The STEM Institute is a three-week program for current high school freshmen interested in exploring careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through a hands-on introduction to Chemistry, Math, Environmental/Earth Science, Computer Science, and Engineering. Students will also learn about college life and college success strategies.

THE STEM Center at Cañada College was created to foster the study of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and to support students pursuing their education in STEM. We offer extensive programs, services and academic support for all students taking STEM courses, as well as a collaborative space for study groups, tutoring, and STEM club meetings. We want you to succeed in STEM.
