Teaching Opportunities
The Business Department at Cañada College welcomes applications from professionals who are interested in teaching part-time and making a meaningful impact in the classroom. We are looking for both new and experienced educators in business, accounting, and office technology.
Our students benefit from instructors who bring real-world experience, practical examples, and a commitment to student success. Whether you are a seasoned industry professional, entrepreneur, small business owner, experienced educator, or recent graduate with strong academic preparation, we encourage you to consider applying.
Part-time faculty may teach courses during the fall, spring, and summer terms. Courses may be offered in 6-, 8-, 16-, or 18-week formats, depending on department needs and scheduling. In-person courses are held at our campus in Redwood City, California. Online courses are taught through Canvas, our current Learning Management System.
Areas of Teaching Interest
The department offers courses in several areas, including business, accounting, entrepreneurship, management, marketing, international business, human relations, and office technology. Applicants are encouraged to review our course descriptions and identify the courses that align with their education, professional background, and teaching interests.
