Project Summary 

The new Cañada College Child Development Center consists of two new modular buildings for the campus’ Early Childhood Education program.

The buildings will house:

  • Classrooms & Offices: Learning spaces for children and faculty workspaces
  • Meeting Rooms: Dedicated areas for collaboration and parent updates
  • A Kitchen: An on-site facility for supplying healthy student meals

Project Timeline

  • Start of Construction – April 2026
  • Delivery of New Portables – September 2026
  • Connection of Utilities to New Facilities – September – November 2026
  • Opening – January 2027

Playground rendering

The program will offer a new educational service for three different age groups, featuring specialized play equipment to align with the specific needs of the children enrolled. To promote an all-natural approach, the play equipment will feature interactive elements and an outdoor art space.

Additional scope includes ADA site access and pathways connecting the Child Development Center to parking lots 8 & 9.
