Kinesiology & Wellness Building

The Kinesiology & Wellness Building, which opened January 2022, serves as the premier educational fitness facility for students and the greater community. The two-story structure was built with two beautiful pools, a hi-tech classroom and a gymnasium - all primed for instruction and wellness activities.

In addition, a number of structural enhancements were made to various buildings across campus to modernize existing infrastructure.

Looking forward, the campus is expanding its educational reach with the new Child Development Center. Slated to open January 2027, the project consists of two new modular buildings that will house classrooms, meeting rooms, offices and an on-site kitchen for student meals. Designed for three different age groups, the Child Development Center will feature interactive play equipment and art spaces and updated ADA site access and pathways to parking lots 8 & 9.

All of these enhancements provide an intellectually stimulating setting where students can thrive in achieving their educational goals. The modern campus invites students to build community and share memorable experiences.

Office Relocations & Campus Enhancements

While the students and community will greatly benefit from Cañada College’s enhanced facilities, the construction requires changes in normal campus operations for the next several years. Students, faculty and staff will be kept up to date through campus wide emails, updates on the construction website and other means with the latest announcements of office relocations, lot and road closures and other events.

Building Capacity & Expanding Resources

These high-impact projects are about moving Cañada College forward and putting students first; meeting growing demands and maintaining our promise to students. The capital improvements will provide the competitive resources and learning opportunities that students need to succeed and achieve their educational goals.
