• Modality definitions — feedback due Friday, September 4: Are the definitions clear to students and consistent with how courses are offered? Please flag confusing language, particularly around synchronous attendance and required on-campus meetings in hybrid courses, and send feedback to Allison Hughes by Friday. Review the modality definitions.
• Our next DE plan: What is working well, where are the gaps, and what should we prioritize over the next three years? Please ask about online teaching, RSI support, AI/LLMs, academic integrity, authentic assessment, and support for evening and online students. For your reference, here is the current Distance Education Plan 2024-2027.
• Faculty training: Are there new adjunct or full-time faculty planning to teach online or hybrid courses who need training or guidance about equivalency? What additional workshops would help your colleagues? Please encourage faculty to contact the DE team promptly about the fall QOTL cohorts.
