Participatory Governance, Committees, and Student Representation

clubhouse 2

Student representation is important; any Cañada student can be appointed by Student Senate to be the student delegate to a college committee, and/or be part of the Participatory Governance process.

Learn more about your voice and what Participatory Governance is through the Participatory Governance Manual website.

Are you interested? Come to the next Student Senate meeting, learn more, and get appointed. Student Senate provides an $18 stipend per hour per meeting for each time the student attends a committee meeting, fills out a committee report form (found HERE and in the Center for Student Life and Leadership Development), and reports about the committee meeting at the ASCC Meeting.
